Happy new year everyone, I hope everyone made it safely into 08. I know I haven’t posted anything in the past months I was just too busy. Just an update on the status on the site, i upgraded a few this today which broke my old theme and the Tags Cloud page. I might get around to it today and get a new theme and update the tags plugin. Also I will stop posting something when I’m adding pictures to gallery so you might want to check it once in a while or so.

I just returned from my short visit to some friends at the Team FinalGear at this years 24 Hours of LeMons at the Flat Rock Speedway in Michigan. I didn’t stay long but i made some nice pictures and a few videos. More videos are to come after i’m finished with encoding them into xvid or divx. The Pictures are in the Gallery, here, and the Videos are in their upload folder, here. I hope you enjoy them.

This Swedish e30 makes 999.99 hp and 1045 Nm at the wheels (1129hp/1181Nm at the crank). It uses the S50B30 6-cylinder mill out of an e36 M3 coupled to a large single Turbo to achieve these enormous numbers. It does the 1/4 mile in 9.78 seconds @ 244.8 km/h (152.11 mph). This has to be one of the most awe inspiring exhaust notes of any car currently in production. That sound gives me shivers, it’s just beautiful. Don’t believe me? Just listen to it yourself:

The car is build in Italy and has a 7.3L Mercedes Benz AMG 60º V 12, it develops about 602 hp @ 6150 rpm. 0-60 equals to 3.5 seconds with a Top speed of 214 mph or 345 km/h. The price of course is as impressive as all the other numbers,about $741,000 US.
